Charleston-based cloud software company Blackbaud recently announced that its education-management platform increased its number of users by 14 percent over the past school year.
The growth in the utilization of the platform covers the 2019-2020 school year wherein 80,000 unique school faculty and administrators, students and parents have used it since last September. Additionally, in 2019, more than 300 private schools adopted Blackbaud's Cloud Solution for K–12 schools, including The Galloway School, Pine Crest School, and Punahou School to enhance data integrity, efficiency in training and implementation, and the overall experience for parents, teachers and students.
"As private schools are facing more competition, it's becoming even more important for them to operate efficiently while delivering the exceptional experiences parents, teachers and students have come to expect," Blackbaud K–12 Solutions President and GM Travis Warren said in a press release. "Blackbaud offers a total school solution that is helping institutions meet these needs head-on by streamlining data flow, boosting productivity and providing the holistic reporting necessary for school leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions."
