The Bank of South Carolina Corp. has officially opened its newest branch at 9403 Highway 78 in North Charleston.
"We are excited about the opening of our North Charleston office following the culmination of several years of planning and eager anticipation," Bank of South Carolina President Fleetwood S. Hassell said in a press release. "We believe this site to be an incredible hub of economic activity. Our bank is proud to anchor this new financial center and to participate in and promote its growth."
The new location is the first in North Charleston and becomes the fifth branch in the greater Charleston area. The other four offices are located in Summerville, Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley and Charleston, home of the first branch that opened in 1987.
The North Charleston branch will provide a full range of financial services such as personal, business and mortgage banking.
