Census Bureau: More women than men in Olanta in 2017


Of the 556 people living in Olanta in 2017, 60.3 percent (335) were women and 39.7 percent (221) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Palmetto Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 139-to-135. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 94 females and 44 males.
