Census Bureau reports Piedmont population was 6,155 in 2017


Piedmont had a population of 6,155 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Palmetto Business Daily.

Piedmont is a census-designated place in South Carolina. The median age of Piedmont residents was 39, with 50.9 percent of the total population being female and 49.1 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 4,893,444.
