Census Bureau reports Hemingway population was 491 in 2017


Hemingway, South Carolina had a population of 491 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Palmetto Business Daily.

The median age was 47, with 59.5 percent of the total population being female and 40.5 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 4,893,444.
