Folly Beach, South Carolina had a population of 2,712 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Palmetto Business Daily.

The median age was 45, with 47.5 percent of the total population being female and 52.5 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 4,893,444.
