Census Bureau reports Georgetown County population was 61,065 in 2017


Georgetown County, South Carolina had a population of 61,065 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Palmetto Business Daily.

The median age was 48, with 52.6 percent of the total population being female and 47.4 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 4,893,444.
