Graduates earn 527 degrees, certificates from Lander University


About 24.9 percent of the 527 degrees and certificates handed out by Lander University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Greenwood conferred 125 bachelor's degrees and 6 certificates in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 125 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 51 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 42 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science.

The university enrolled 2,849 students for 2017-18, including 2,787 in undergraduate programs and 62 in graduate programs.
