Graduates earn 558 degrees from the University of South Carolina-Aiken


About 27.6 percent of the 558 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Aiken conferred 140 bachelor's degrees and 14 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 140 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 78 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 52 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science.

The university enrolled 3,506 students for 2017-18, including 3,354 in undergraduate programs and 152 in graduate programs.
