North Charleston Citizens Public Safety Academy begins in March

The City of North Charleston is seeking program participants for its Citizens Public Safety Academy, which will begin March 12.

North Charleston’s Citizens Public Safety Academy increases the community's awareness of city services. Participants will be joining a 10-week program, wherein they will have the opportunity to an inside look at the role of different public safety personnel such as firefighters, police officers, code enforcement officers, and building inspectors.

Participants will meet with city employees, have an opportunity to ask questions, and participate in hands-on activities.

Classes will be conducted every Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m.
