Cleveland Park Drive between Ridgeland Drive and Lakehurst Street will be closed for about two months to give way to the pipe installation for the city’s largest wastewater conveyance project.

Dig Greenville will be placing a 1-mile long, 11-foot wide gravity sewer 100 feet below the ground.

Part of the Swamp Rabbit Trail near the Veteran’s Memorial also will be closed during the construction, but access to the trail coming from the Greenville Zoo parking area will be kept open together with an alternate path going to the trail intersection with Woodland Way.

Cleveland Park Drive and Swamp Rabbit Trail will reopen after construction.
