Columbia International University is ready to accept new enrollees, including those coming from the recently closed Virginia College.

CIU encourages former Virginia College students to look into the university’s list of majors, minors, and programs, including CIU’s Online Bachelor of Science in Business and Online Associate of Arts and Business.

The university boasts its ongoing on-campus expansion including the construction of the $20 million William H. Jones Global Business & IT Center.

CIU President Dr. Mark Smith said the center will be used as a training ground for students to learn good business strategies and “go into countries to start small businesses” and for “IT to be a critical component as they go work around the world."

The center is expected to be completed this summer.

CIU's application is available on its website. Prospective students can contact them at 800-777-2227, ext. 5024.
