Mobile Disaster Recovery Center visits Myrtle Beach

A Mobile Disaster Recovery Center will be at Myrtle Beach at the South Strand Recreation Complex through Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

With the help of FEMA recovery specialists and the U.S. Small Business Administration, staff will explain about assistance the center can offer to business owners, renters and homeowners who have been affected by Hurricane Florence.

The centers have assistive technology equipment to support disaster survivors with disabilities.

Business owners, homeowners and renters may check their eligibility for federal, state and voluntary agency disaster assistance and other information by visiting https://www.disasterassistance.gov/, by contacting 800-621-3362 (TTY: 800-462-7585), or by using the fema.gov/mobile-app for Apple and Android devices.
