75 percent of applicants to University of South Carolina-Union were admitted for fall 2017


At University of South Carolina-Union, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Union enrolled 903 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 2.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Carolina, and 1 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (68 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 479 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 51 percent enrolled.
