The Little River Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center is looking for around 150 volunteers for the upcoming Little River ShrimpFest to be held Oct. 13-14.

Volunteers will mostly assist with manning the front gate as well as assisting in souvenir and beverage sales. Volunteers are expected to commit to a three-hour shift during festival hours, which run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Chamber President and CEO Jennifer Walters said the festival has been a success because of previous volunteers. Volunteers will receive free admission and a free festival T-shirt. They will also receive an additional admission ticket and a free lunch during their shift.

Individuals, families and organizations are welcome to apply as event volunteers. If interested, visit www.LittleRiverShrimpFest.org and apply online.
