The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (CMCC PAC) has endorsed three candidates for re-election to Dorchester County Council.
According to Chappy McKay, chairman of the CMCC PAC, the endorsed candidates “support a positive business climate and are aligned with the Chamber’s Sustainable Growth Ethic” and “are committed to serving constituents in their districts and also understand the connection between local decisions and the continued economic prosperity of the larger region.”
The three candidates endorsed by the CMCC PAC are:
George Bailey, who is running in District 3, and has a history of leadership for Dorchester County and statewide. He believes in continuously investing in infrastructure as a way to enhance residents’ quality of life.

David Chinnis, who is running in District 2, and is an advocate of parks to enhance the quality of life. He is also finding ways on expanding housing opportunities and mitigate traffic in his community.
The CMCC PAC believes these three candidates are the best in the field in terms of supporting balanced, sustainable growth and favoring a strong business climate.
