Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Charleston Cosmetology Institute, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
South Carolina students paid $17,500 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.
Data shows 83 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 49 students received grants or scholarships totaling $201,365 and 65 students took out student loans totaling more than $285,632.
Including all undergraduates, 77 students used grants or scholarships totaling $279,125. Another 83 took out $350,428 in federal student loans.
