About 40.7 percent of the 629 degrees and certificates handed out by the Limestone College in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Gaffney conferred 187 bachelor's degrees and 46 associate's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other. Data shows the school gave out 154 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other, followed by 100 bachelor's degrees in Social Work and 46 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.

The college enrolled 3,015 students for 2016-17, including 2,946 in undergraduate programs and 69 in graduate programs.
