Graduates earn 117 degrees from Erskine College


About 19.7 percent of the 117 degrees and certificates handed out by the Erskine College in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in West conferred 23 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 23 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 21 bachelor's degrees in Biology/Biological Sciences, General and 10 bachelor's degrees in Athletic Training/Trainer.

The college enrolled 822 students for 2016-17, including 614 in undergraduate programs and 208 in graduate programs.
