Graduates earn 168 degrees from University of South Carolina-Lancaster


About 66.7 percent of the 168 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of South Carolina-Lancaster in 2016-17 were to students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Lancaster conferred 112 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 112 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 35 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General and 12 associate's degrees in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.

The university enrolled 1,845 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
