With a strong track record of support in the Columbia vicinity, the law firm of Jones, McAden & Associates (JMA) has been recognized as the Columbia Chamber’s “Partner of the Month” for January.
JMA’s owner Joe S. Jones III is a familiar presence at local happenings, regularly volunteering with humanitarian, charity and environmental groups. Additionally, the company has backed the Chamber for close to 15 years. JMA staffers maintain involvement with the Small Business Council, and count among themselves an alumnus of the Leadership Columbia program.
JMA staff comprises account manager Adam Jones, associate and editor Allison Jones King, account executive Elaine Mikell, and bookkeeper Michelle McLaren at the firm’s 826 Assembly St. office location.
This year, JMA is the designated host for Columbia’s third annual Public Policy Reception, a large networking event connecting the area’s top business leaders and elected lawmakers — not only from Columbia but also from the cities of Cayce, Forest Acres and Lexington, as well as Richland and Lexington Counties.
Billed as “a regional vision for prosperity,” the Public Policy Reception will offer an opportunity for local constituents to interact with state House and Senate delegations. At this event the Chamber will reveal its 2018 public policy agenda.
