The Beach Company recently donated scholarships to eight students at the Greenville Technical College through the college’s Quick Jobs with a Future program.
The program supports those pursuing a degree in real estate, project management or construction.
“The Beach Company has supported various grass-roots organizations which provide valuable contributions to youth and education, arts and culture and other community based philanthropy in Greenville, but we are especially pleased to support Greenville Tech’s programs,” Senior Vice President of Development Dan Doyle said. “It’s an investment with a far-reaching ripple effect.”
The Quick Jobs with a Future program allows working adults to obtain skills matching the needs of local businesses and industries by offering classes that appeal to specific jobs or skill sets.
“We are grateful to The Beach Company for growing the workforce by providing funds that help students connect with opportunities,” Steve Hand, director of the Quick Jobs with a Future program, said. “Scholarships eliminate barriers for deserving people and help us create qualified employees.”
