The Aiken Chamber of Commerce has named Woody Malone its Ambassador of the Quarter.
Malone was honored at a First Friday Means Business breakfast Aug. 4. He said he enjoys networking and building great relationships with other ambassadors.
“Woody has been there to help set up, tear down, start and end many of our programs including First Friday Means Business, Business After Hours, annual dinner and many more,” Valerie Umsted, chairperson of the 2017 Ambassador Team, said. “The chamber staff, ambassadors and the members he serves know Woody is a person you can rely on to get a job done.”
The chamber’s ambassadors act as liaisons and explain the benefits of membership to new members.
“Woody is an excellent communicator of the chamber’s mission,” David Jameson, the chamber president and CEO, said as he presented the award. "We are proud to have him on our team and appreciate the commitment he demonstrates to promoting the Aiken business community."
