The Greenville Chamber of Commerce is collecting diapers for Operation Dry Baby Bottoms, with a goal of collecting 1 milliion diapers this month.
Collected diapers will benefit families that have financial need.
Diapers can be dropped off at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, 24 Cleveland St., on any Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Additionally, diapers will be collected during the following events:
****Sept. 7 at Netnight at Fluor Field.
****Sept. 8 at the Advocacy Issues Committee Update at the chamber.
****Sept. 13 at the Small Business Owners' Forum at University Center.
****Sept. 14 at the Nonprofit Alliance event "Attracting Talent" at Caine Halter Family YMCA.
****Sept. 15 at Friday Forum with Mayor Knox White at the Hilton Greenville.
****Sept. 18 at the Chamber Golf Tournament at Greenville Country Club.
****Sept. 19 at the Healthcare Issues Update at the Chamber.
****Sept. 20 at the Sales Roundtable at the Chamber.
****Sept. 21 at the Advocacy Lunch with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) at the Westin Poinsett.
****Sept. 22 at the Pulse Young Professionals Leadership Lunch at Hilton Greenville.
One in three moms experiences "diaper need" with children under age 3, and there is no state or federal aid available specifically for diapers. Diapers also cannot be purchased with food stamps or WIC vouchers.
