The Greenville Chamber of Commerce discusses workers' compensation on a recent post on its website.

In South Carolina, employers are required to have workers' compensation insurance if the company has four or more employees.

An investor discount available through the chamber can help cut these costs. Accident Fund’s dividend percentages range from 5 to 13 percent, depending on the investor workers' compensation basic premium costs. Companies that participated last year received $1 million in dividends.

The Accident Fund Group Program includes benefits such as 5 percent up-front savings, dividend payouts based on the groups entire loss history, as well as safety tools and reading materials.
