The Greenville Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a roundtable discussion, sponsored by MAU Workforce Solutions to help call centers address issues facing one of the areas key industries: finding qualified talent.
Participants in the discussion covered ways to address the issue, such as embracing remote-working options. Offering attendance bonuses could also attract and retain good workers. Companies also noted that reviewing the recruitment process is a good idea, since there is always room for improvement.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the customer service industry will grow 10 percent by 2024.
