The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce has received two awards of excellence for its work from Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).
The Charleston Metro Chamber's awards were for its “That’s Why I’m a Member” video campaign and its State House Guide publication.
“Being recognized by ACCE for our outstanding marketing efforts as well as being named a Chamber of the Year finalist is a tremendous achievement,” Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO Bryan Derreberry said. “These accolades showcase the passion, dedication and hard work of our chamber staff, volunteer leaders and membership to advance the Charleston metro.”
Entries for the awards contest were judged by marketing and communications pros from various chambers around the country. Three Best in Show winners are yet to be named and will be revealed next month at an event in Nashville.
“Communicating effectively is vital for chambers of commerce and grabbing attention is becoming increasingly challenging. This year’s award-winning entries represent work that’s not only effective, but incredibly creative and innovative,” Ben Wills, director of communications and marketing for the ACCE, said. “Communications professionals at chambers of commerce work tirelessly to promote their members, businesses in the community they serve and the unique characteristics that make their state or region a top place to live, work and play.”
