Platinum Luxury Auctions and Justin Winter Sotheby's International Realty recently brokered the largest sale in the Cliffs at Keowee Falls in Salem – a lakefront estate that went for roughly $2.1 million after a live auction on May 6.

"Our team really enjoyed working with the folks in The Cliffs marketplace, and Justin Winter really engaged in the process and did a great job adding real value to our program," Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's founder and president, said in a statemet. "We're looking forward to exploring more market opportunities with his team."

Five potential buyers bid on the home; the winner was a financial services professional. The property sits on 1.8 private acres and has 560 linear feet of lake frontage. It has an English manor-inspired design and includes four bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Morgan-Keefe luxury homebuilders, Neal Prince and Partners design, and Pulliam-Morris decorators worked together on building the house. Construction finished in 2006.

The Cliffs Keowee Falls, an upscale community in Salem, comprises more than 2,500 acres and 20 miles of shoreline on Lake Keowee.
