Sharon Hollis has joined the staff at the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG) as its principal planner.
Hollis has provided project management for architectural and engineering design services for transit facilities, including a $14.5 million passenger intermodal center in North Charleston that features Amtrak, intercity bus service and local transit, according to BCDCOG officials.
She attended Georgia State University where she received her bachelor of business administration degree in real estate. She then went on to attain her master of city and regional planning degree from Georgia Tech.
The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments is a three-county regional agency that
offers economic development and social services in the tri-county area.
