The Little River Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center is seeking volunteers to help staff the Blue Crab Festival May 20 and 21.

All volunteers will receive a free, limited edition “Volunteer” T-Shirt featuring this year’s new design on a T-Shirt color that is not available for sale. Volunteers will also receive free admission the day they are working, an additional admission ticket, and a lunch ticket each day that they are scheduled to work a shift.

“The festival is a success because of our volunteers,” Executive Director Jennifer Walters said. "The festivals in Little River rely on volunteers to assist with manning the front gate as well as souvenir and beverage sales. In total, about 150 volunteers are needed to run the festival. We are seeking volunteers from our wonderful community that can commit to a three-hour shift during festival hours by the end of March. Families and organizations are welcome to apply as a group."

Volunteers can apply online at www.BlueCrabFestival.org. For more information, contact the Little River Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center at 843-249-6604 or Volunteers@BlueCrabFestival.org.
