BB&T to build mortgage servicing facility in Greenville County

BB&T, one of the largest financial services holding companies in the United States, is building a new $30 million facility in Greenville County.

BB&T, one of the largest financial services holding companies in the United States, is building a new $30 million facility in Greenville County.

Located at 825 E. Butler Road in Mauldin, the structure will be a 140,000-square-foot mortgage servicing center, which will house more than 600 BB&T associates. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the fourth quarter of 2017.

“The construction of this new mortgage servicing center is indicative of BB&T’s commitment to South Carolina, Mauldin and the greater Greenville area," BB&T Mortgage Lending President Tol Broome said. "With this state-of-the-art facility, we will be better equipped to provide our clients with superior service, as we help them fulfill the dream of homeownership."

Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., BB&T operates more than 2,196 financial centers in 15 states and offers a range of consumer and commercial banking, securities brokerage, asset management, mortgage and insurance products and services.
