The South Carolina Disaster Recovery Office has introduced the October 2015 Storm Recovery Program to repair or reconstruct single-family housing and single-family rental units affected by the October 2015 flood and rain event that still have unrepaired damage.
This program is specifically designed to assist low income South Carolinians who require assistance in the repair, replacement or reconstruction of their homes. The program expects to serve 1,500 homeowners with the priority of assistance focused on the elderly, disabled and families with children 5 or younger, officials said.
The application deadline is April 30. For more information, go to SCStormRecovery.com.
