Kristyne Shelton, of the Aiken Board of Realtors, has been appointed to fill an unexpired Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce board vacancy created by the departure of by Charlie Hartz of Dunkin’ Donuts.
Shelton, the daughter of 2007 Chamber Chair K.D. Justyn, has been the association executive for the Aiken Board of Realtors for 13 years. Her term on the Board of Directors will end Dec. 31, 2018.
Before moving to Aiken in 2002, she was the director at the Sun City Summerlin Las Vegas Community Association with over 14,000 homes, five community centers, four fitness centers, a theater, three golf courses and a restaurant. She moved to Aiken to be closer to family.
Shelton was named South Carolina Association Executive of the Year by the South Carolina Association of Realtors in 2013. She graduated from Leadership SCR in 2010 and has served on the Habitat for Humanity Selection Committee for many years.
Shelton and her husband, Jerry, are parents to their 4-year-old daughter, Ally.
