Alex Glasgow, leadership programs director for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, has been chosen to serve on the 2017 Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) Board.
CACCE’s mission is to equip Chamber of Commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers, officials said.
Glasgow's experience includes propelling the Charleston Chamber’s leadership initiatives through programs such as Metro Leadership Visit, Leadership Charleston and Leadership Discovery.
"I look forward to serving CACCE in 2017," she said. "Through participation on the board, I will have an opportunity to directly impact leadership development of chamber executives in North and South Carolina.”
The CACCE was formed in 1994 when the North and South Carolina state chamber associations merged.
There are 21 members of the CACCE Board who include both small and large chambers in North and South Carolina. Her term runs through Dec. 31, with members meeting regularly in person and through interactive venues.
