The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce has selected Tim Rogers, formerly of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), as its vice president of membership development.
As the leader of the membership sales team, Rogers is expected to increase the Chamber's membership through the development and execution of sales and retention strategies that bring long-term value to organizations of all sizes.
Prior to joining the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, he worked as the director of sales and membership for NAM, where he was responsible for driving growth in the medium-sized and billion dollar manufacturing segment that comprised about 65 percent of the organization's membership.
He also worked alongside senior management to help grow the participation of Fortune 1000 companies in membership as well as work closely with NAM's Board of Directors. He brings with him more than 17 years of experience in sales and retention.
"Tim brings a talented sales skill set, a personable leadership style and extensive experiences in successfully conveying the value of a mission-based, membership-driven organization. We are thrilled to have him join our team," Adrian Cain, senior vice president of membership and development, said.
Originally from New York City and raised in New Jersey, Rogers attended Baylor University where he earned a bachelor of arts in marketing.
