The Greenville Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Ashley Young as its new business advocacy intern.
Young, a recent graduate of Furman University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and history, is originally from Peachtree City, Georgia. She hopes to attending law school in Washington, D.C. in the fall.
As the business advocacy intern this spring, she will be assisting the Chamber with social media, communications, legislative research and tracking, and various Chamber events.
"I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge about the issues affecting businesses here in Greenville and across the nation, advocating for solutions to those problems, and making professional connections in the political and business communities in Greenville," Young said.
