William Means Real Estate sold more than $198 million in Charleston-area real estate in 2016, making it one of the company's most successful years to date.
The company also ranked No. 1 among Charleston real estate companies, officials said, with an average home sale price of more than $600,000.
"Recording more than $198 million in real estate sales is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the talented and experienced real estate agents we have at William Means," Helen Lyles Geer, president and broker-in-charge, said. "We are grateful to our loyal clients for helping to achieve this number, and we are anticipating continued and even greater success in 2017."
William Means is one of the oldest real estate companies in Charleston and an exclusive affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate. The company has more than 30 full-time real estate agents working from its offices in downtown Charleston and in Mount Pleasant.
