Little River’s Chamber of Commerce welcomed its newest affiliate, Tobacco City Cigars, in a special ribbon-cutting last week at its new venue at 2229 Highway 17 N., Suite D.

Owners Rob and Keith Henshaw chose Little River, just north of Myrtle Beach, following a merging of their New York factory and Burlington office. Established in 2015 by the Henshaw brothers, Tobacco City Cigars was born of nostalgic associations with family time, as their father passed along his lifelong love of cigars to his sons.

“It was our dream to have a factory manufacturing cigars in the United States and in our favorite little corner of South Carolina,” the owners said.

Offering hand-selected, premium tobacco sourced from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, the family-run company places a high value on customer enjoyment.

Tobacco City Cigars also employs two master rollers with several decades of experience. According to the company’s website, its most popular cigar is named “The Barber Pole.”
