Stuart MacVean, president and CEO of Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC, spoke at the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Means Business breakfast event Jan. 6.
MacVean is responsible to the Department of Energy for the operations of the Savannah River site and has worked at the complex for more than 30 years. He is the the charter chairman of the CSRA American Heart Association Board and is also a member of the Aiken Partnership Board for the University of South Carolina Aiken.
The First Friday breakfast events takes place each month from 7:30-9 a.m. at Newberry Hall, 117 Newberry St. SW in Aiken. The First Friday Means Business event will also include updates from city, county and chamber officials.
