Featuring a feast for the eyes as well as the palate, the Aiken Chamber of Commerce will unveil a new logo at its annual dinner at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at USC’s Aiken Convocation Center.
The Chamber’s new emblem symbolizes connection among local business entities and the community as the organization observes its 99th year. The annual dinner event highlights the Chamber’s theme of “Connect Aiken.”
“The business climate is the No. 1 factor to a successful community, and we feel the new logo visually represents the connection between business and the community,” said Chamber President and CEO J. David Jameson. “We will celebrate the connections of the past 99 years, but more importantly look to the horizon for connections that can be made to enhance Aiken’s future.”
The occasion will feature various annual awards, including Man and Woman of the Year and Small and Large Business of the Year, acknowledging individuals demonstrating leadership and community involvement; and companies delivering outstanding customer service and exemplifying community ethos, respectively.
Attendees will not only enjoy cocktails, dinner and awards but also a special dance performance by Burns Dance Studio. To register for the evening, contact membership services director Emily Murphy at 803-641-1111 or email email@example.com.
