The former Holiday Inn Express Charleston-Summerville has reopened as Wyndham Garden Summerville after a $2.5 million renovation.
The 123-room hotel at 120 Holiday Drive in Summerville has been upgraded with a new Wyn bistro and bar, a revamped meeting space, new lobby and public areas, plus new carpeting, bedding, drapes and lighting in guest rooms.
"We have been honored to provide quality accommodations to locals, business associates and travelers to Summerville, South Carolina for over 30 years," David Kalik, president of site-management company True Blue Hospitality, said. "Now, we are pleased to show off our beautifully renovated facilities so we can provide first class hospitality to our neighbors and guests for at least the next 30 years."
