Brett Dalton has been elevated to serve as Clemson's executive vice president for finance and operations and Angie Leidinger will be the university’s new vice president of external affairs.
Dalton and Leidinger receives the promotions to reflect their current responsibilities and to recognize the growth of the range of their roles.
“Brett and Angie are both outstanding members of my leadership team whose portfolios have grown over time,”Clemson President James Clements said. “Their promotions reflect the vitally important roles each play at the university as we continue to build the executive team that will help guide Clemson over the next decade or more.”
Dalton is a two-time graduate of Clemson and has been employed by the university since 1991. Since 2007, he has held the position of vice president for finance and operations.
Leidinger earned her bachelor’s degree from Clemson and began working at the institution in 2002 as the executive director of governmental affairs. In 2008, she was appointed the executive secretary of the Clemson Board of Trustees.
Both belong to Clemson’s Executive Leadership Team, which reports directly to President Clements.
