Expressing pride in its affiliation with South Carolina’s Lowcountry, eviCore health care officials plans to expand its IT firm's base in Beaufort County, adding 35 positions and generating over $1.6 million in capital.
Specializing in streamlining medical benefit management for patients while maintaining quality care, eviCore relies on specialists and data-driven procedural evaluation to empower its clients towards practicing evidence-based care.
The firm’s EVP Elias Wahesh stated that “eviCore is proud to be a part of the Lowcountry community” while indicating enthusiasm for the Bluffton headquarters expansion.
“We are fortunate to have the support of great partners at the state of South Carolina, Beaufort County and the town of Bluffton. We look forward to many more successful years here,” Wahesh said.
With headquarters situated at 400 Buckwalter Place Blvd. in Bluffton, the company’s plans include investment in renovating its existing facility, where it currently employs 400 individuals, in order to accommodate growth.
“Each time a company doing business in South Carolina succeeds and is able to grow here, it’s a win for the entire state,” Gov. Nikki Haley said.
Additionally, the state’s Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $300,000 Set Aside grant to Beaufort County to assist with project-related improvements.
