In a partnership expected to “make some waves in the market,” South Carolina’s National Land Realty recently merged with Carolina Land Pursuits of Kinston, North Carolina, gaining a 32-county territory ripe for development and marketing.
As a rapidly growing land brokerage, National Land Realty focuses on agricultural and recreational estate acquisition, including timber-rich properties such as the eastern North Carolina area covered in the deal.
National Land Realty CEO Jason Walter lauded the comprehensive connections that Carolina Land Pursuits principal Aaron Sutton has established in the Kinston area. Acknowledging strong demand for land, Walter predicted a thriving partnership.
“Over the last 10 years, Aaron Sutton has built a strong business in land sales, particularly timberland and waterfront properties,” Walter said. “Aaron will be our manager and broker for Eastern North Carolina … with room to expand and build his team.”
Sutton, a Kinston native and graduate of East Carolina University, expressed equal enthusiasm for the venture.
“I’ve built a solid footprint in the region, and [National Land Realty has] a strong reputation for marketing, technology and other back-end business infrastructure,” Sutton said. “When you combine the foundation I’ve built in eastern North Carolina land sales with National Land Realty’s marketing resources, this is a no-lose situation. Together, we’re going to make some waves in the market.”
