The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce held its State of International Trade event Wednesday, hosted by the World Trade Center Charleston.
Those in attendance networked with leaders in international trade from the region of Charleston and listened to Senior Vice President of Credit Risk management for SunTrust Bank K.C. Conway, the event's featured speaker. Conway discussed global markets and logistics trends.
The WTCC also honored three companies in the region with the U.S. Commercial Service’s Export Achievement Certificate. These companies have distinguished themselves in worldwide trade. State Sen. Larry Grooms (R-Berkeley) presented the awards.
