Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County teamed up with the Clemson University football team on Tuesday to help with the Grace Point Project, an affordable housing initiative.
The project will expand Habitat for Humanity Greenville’s number of families helped by new construction. The home rehabilitation and neighborhood revitalization is especially focused on military veterans. The Grace Point Project will help 13 families to enjoy home ownership as they work on Habitat homes.
In 2015, Habitat for Humanity Greenville was awarded the Greenville Chamber’s Neighborhood Improvement Award and the Nonprofit Excellence Award by the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations.
