The South Carolina Good Government Committee, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s affiliated PAC, has released its list of 20 candidates it supports for the South Carolina Senate and House of Representatives.
The PAC uses the State Chamber’s legislative scorecard, which can be found on the South Carolina Chamber website, to determine the most business and pro-job friendly candidates. Each of these candidates has track record of business-friendly voting.
The endorsements for Senate are Sens. Karl Allen (District 7), John Courson (District 20), Floyd Nicholson (District 10), Nikki Setzler (District 26) and Rep. Mia McLeod (District 22), .
The candidates for South Carolina House are Reps. Michael Anthony, (District 42), Gary Clary (District 3), Shannon Erickson (District 124), Raye Felder (District 26), Michael Forrester (District 34), Bill Herbkersman (District 118), Davey Hiott (District 4), Jeffrey Johnson (District 58), Tommy Pope (District 47), Samuel Rivers Jr. (District 15), Kit Spires (District 96), Leon Stravrinakis (District 119), Anne Thayer (District 9), Richie Yow (District 53), and Mark Willis (District 16).
