O2 Fitness Clubs in the Lowcountry have opened their doors for victims of Hurricane Matthew who do not have power or water to use their shower and bathroom facilities.

The O2 Fitness facilities open to residents are Daniel Island, Hanahan, Goose Creek, North Charleston, three locations in Mount Pleasant, Moncks Corner, Summerville and two locations in West Ashley. They will continue to provide these services until power and water is restored to everyone in the area.

“Some of our neighbors are having a tough time in the wake of Hurricane Matthew and we want to let them know we’re there for them, whether they’re club members or not,” O2 Fitness Clubs Area Director Melissa Griffin said.

O2 Fitness officials said they are dedicated to not only offering fitness to the community but also giving back to the community however they are able to do so, including sponsoring local events and donating to charities.
