Mount Pleasant Mayor and business owner Linda Page will be featured at the Charleston Metro Chamber's Business in Your Backyard event tomorrow morning.
Page is the owner of Page’s Thieves Market, which includes a retail store as well as an auction service. Her business also handles business liquidations, real estate auctions and fundraising efforts. Free and fee-based appraisals are also available. She is a past president of the South Carolina Auctioneers Association
The chamber is partnering with the Town of Mount Pleasant as they celebrate Mount Pleasant Business Appreciation Week. During the event, Patrick Bryant of the Harbor Entrepreneur Center will interview Page.
The event will held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Sept. 21 in Alhambra Hall, 131 Middle St., Mount Pleasant. Advance reservations are available for $15, while registering at the door will be $25.
The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of 1,600 member organizations that represent 125,000 professionals. The chamber was the first municipal Chamber of Commerce in the U.S. It was founded in 1773. The chamber provides tools, resources and services to help businesses thrive in the South Carolina business market.
