For the sixth consecutive year, RootMetrics has announced that Verizon is the top wireless network for South Carolina, according to the new RootScore Report for the state.
Verizon has also been chosen as the first for its call performance and network reliability in the state.
RootMetrics, an independent mobile analytics firm, uses off-the-shelf consumer smartphones to evaluate the capabilities of networks. It has tested all four of the major wireless carriers in the U.S., using six network performance categories throughout various locations.
Many people in South Carolina find Verizon to be reliable for their areas, and the research from RootMetrics confirms their experiences.
"We've got you covered, from Greenville to Charleston, in the state,” Roger Tang, president of Verizon's South East market, said. “That's the kind of real value South Carolinians deserve and appreciate."
